  • The Secret Lives of Paleoindians: Terminal Pleistocene Foragers...

This is an excellent lecture, which I recommend.

Tom Loebel presented at the April 2015 ECIAS meeting in Urbana, Illinois.

Hey Hi-Lo....I finally had a quiet hour to sit and really listen to that lecture by Dr. Loebel. It was a great 55 minutes. It really interested me because a great deal of it was about migration routes that went right through my backyard. I also never really knew that many of those fantastic Paleos were just ceremonial. Some of that material really traveled a long way. I had a chance to sit with Dr. Loebel a couple years back and have him go through some of my collection. He is a total class guy and explained things very clearly. Thanks again man...

I'm really glad you liked it. That is very cool that you had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Loebel. The significance of the Paleoamerican odyssey is overwhelming, and I have great respect for persons like Dr. Loebel. One can only imagine how truly important some of these most treasured examples of bifaces must have been to these earliest explorers of our continent.
