lots of rain in some good fields around NW TN lately. Never have found any purple hardstone before. Very nice pitted Mano.
Also found a couple points. The knapper really had his work cut out for him on the Jasper adena piece; looks like it fought him the whole way

Interesting finds Dylan! So do you think that the mano is made from a stone that is somewhat purple, or do you think that the stone could be red ocher stained? I've heard of places in Tennessee where the red ochre was very purple...Josh (Ky/Tn collector)Comment
