    I saw another post with people sharing quartz points, so show off some nice rhyolite pieces..
    These are VA and NC pieces

      I generally hunt in KY. these are East Coast pieces.. I have hunted in NC and Va a bit but mostly have found common grade points of the material..

        Those are are some choice pieces Weeping! That red second lance reminds me of a different type of Ironstone with it's crisp lines. Here's some MD. Woodland era points known as the Fox Creek. They predominantly used Rhyolite, but Argillite was also an accepted tool lithic. The largest point here is right at 3" ~

        If the women don\'t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

            Lots of quartz around here but some sites have a good bit of ryolite that was brought in. These are some personal finds from York and Chester S.C.
