        Sorry... Are you just picking up rocks based on their shapes, or are you searching for evidence of being worked or polished? It's a lesson we've all learned.

            Listen, this is not meant to be critical, everyone has to learn some how. To sum up all your recent posts, you are dragging home natural rocks. It appears like you may be hunting locally, so try and make it to the Marysville Show on the 8th, and get a good look at man made, altered rocks, intended to serve a purpose. Arrow and spear points, knives, hard stone items that have been pecked, polished, altered and transformed into a tool. Nature can play some cruel tricks, and turn stones into any thing your imagination can perceive.

              That is great advice Paul I hope HHaysr takes you up on that. He was invited by John Selmer too and asked to bring his pipe. I hope he goes. It would be a great experience for him for sure.
