    Sloan Dalton – 4 7/16”L x 1 1/8”W – Dwain Rogers COA. – Early Archaic, 10,000-9,200 B.P. – Light Gray Color Chert – This is the type they ever one wants, look at the flaking, the well notched base, base -and- notch are ground – Found in Cole Co., MO. – Ex. Ron Larson, Rhett Parker

      Sloan Dalton

      Here's a pic I took of a cache of 9 Dalton (Sloan) points that were found in April of 1976, in Illinois. They were found by Edwin Smith of Chester, Illinois, in sandy soil near Big Muddy River.
