Now this maybe a dumb question, are there points with the name "Cody Blade?" Or is Cody Complex the only artifact with the name cody in it? If so do you have a pic of a cody blade?

There are many point types that fall under Cody Complex - Alberta, Eden, Scottsbluff, Firstview, Winddust, others and they all have knife types. I will see if I can find any pictures.

This is a picture of an Alberta that was found below Keystone Dam near Tulsa OK.

    Josh,
There is a type known as the Cody Knife- according to O-street is Plains Paleo 10,000-8000 BP. They were made by the Cody Complex people and may only have one shoulder making them asymetrical. Sorry, but the Christmas tree is in front of my Perino books right now, LOL, or I'd bring better info.

This is called a Red River Knife which is Cody Complex Knife, it is made out of a Scottsbluff. It was found in east Texas, near Texarkana.

Eden (Cody Complex) – 2 1/8”L x ¾”W -Bill Jackson & Dwain Rogers COAs. – Early Archaic, 9,500 B.P range –Elizabethan Yellow Jasperized Wood – Klamath Falls OR. - This is a very rare type, but even more so for Oregon. - It has fantastic flaking in the Cody Complex style.

Those are all incredible artifacts, this is my Cody from Alamosa County. I wish it was bigger but oh well, I think it's made from honey moss agate with rutile needles, anyways I hope it is because it's a rare type of material.
