  • City slickers.

That term should be recognized for all of those who never put winter tires on their vehicles.
    Myself included.
Today is a snow day for me.

So when Sunday came around and nothing was falling out of the sky I took advantage of it.
Gas was covered. Click image for larger version

The size difference between the dollar coins is really something when you see them side by side. Click image for larger version

Only one silver was saved yesterday.
And on a side note, 65 years ago today this little lady became the queen of England. Click image for larger version

I didn't use the oven as he suggested.
My heating choice was our automatic coffee maker. Click image for larger version

Neat photo if it snowed like that here the state would shut down. Interesting dollar comparison, we had a dollar like that and it was confused with the quarter a lot of the time.

Yup the Susan B Anthony Dollars looked almost like a quarter.

I know that you guys down there really did not like your dollar coins very much. If I remember correctly you folks preferred the old folding green back.
Our modern dollar coins and quarters are exactly the same size as the ones down there by the way and none of us complain (unless we drop them out of our pockets) about them looking like a quarter. US and Canadian quarters. 24.26 mm (0.955 in) US and Canadian dollar. 26.5 mm (1.04 in) The standout difference is the old style dollar coins that we used to carry in our pockets. 32.13 mm, thickness 2.62 mm And at 15.62 grams with a couple of these on one side you felt the weight compared to what they are now. 6.27g

PS the weight difference between the US quarter and the Susan B Anthony dollar is very noticeable Quarter 5.670 g Dollar 8.1 g
        2.57 grams is quite noticeable.
But that is just my humble opinion.
