At least that is what I told Colin when I pulled the guitar pendant. Colin and I hooked up for a schoolyard hunt on Sunday. Even though I dug 79 pennies while we were together not one silver showed under my coil. The only thing of interest to make it's way into the pouch was part of an old fire arms license.[ After he left the need for silver demanded a change of location.

An old favorite spot was calling on Monday. Due to the recent rains the best areas were better left lone though. Since I hate driving from place to place needlessly I decided to work on one of the hillsides. With only a couple of broken keys and 27 cents in the pouch after 2 hours I began to question my decision. That is until this nice vintage pin made it's appearance. Without a makers mark it will be difficult to determine the age of it.
PS who in their right mind uses iron as a connector on silver jewelry? Unfortunately the remaining colour did not survive the lemon juice soak. Once again the trash has been remarkably low. I wonder if that is why the old coin recovery was also low?Bruce
In life there are losers and finders. Which one are you?
