  • Buckle up.

The last couple of days has not been as productive.
    Silver wise that is.
On Wednesday I decided to try a different school grounds.
There were some interesting items to be found there I do say that. Click image for larger version

I think that the N.A & A Co is the National Arms and Ammunition company but I can not find a database reference with a photo. Click image for larger version

    I love finding buckles.
Buckles come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and material.
Brass or silver being the best material of course. Click image for larger version

Now in this school yard depth has very little meaning as there is a lot of fill.
It is not as old as my other snake buckle but I will take it. Click image for larger version

I just need either a smaller snake or a bigger receiver. Click image for larger version

LOVE the whale coin (that is a whale, isn't it?)! 😊
Either US visitors are careless with their pennies, or you Canadians dump them after arriving back home. At any rate, more $ for you!

Really like that snake buckle, and looks like a good haul on some coins.

Thank you. My other snake buckle does date back to the 1800s but this one is more likely an early 1900s buckle.

You had better put those trifocals back on Deb. I know that my pictures are not perfect but a whale is slightly different from a mackerel.
In 1967 we had our centennial and they held a contest for a new design on our coins.
This link is all about how the winner chose the designs that were used. http://www.coinscan.com/des/1967d.html
It is hard to find good pictures of the full set Deb. This is the best that I can do. Click image for larger version

Oops! I apologize to the whale kingdom for the insult. I'm not a mackerel snapper.
