    Chapter member, Jason Lovett, will offer a presentation:

    The Northampton Meadows Site: Palaeo-American Occupation through Colonial Settlement





    Jason offers this preview: I'll be speaking about the site from the draining of Pro-glacial Lake Hitchcock until roughly 1800. I've metal detected and searched for Native American Artifacts for nearly a decade at the site and have used Google Earth to mark the location of most of my finds there. Interesting patterns have emerged as a result of marking finds on the map. I'll put some specific focus on the Clovis site within the meadows complex, andalso on the earliest European Colonial artifacts (early-mid 1600's) identified so far.









    Also, always: SHOW AND TELL, and EXPERT IDENTIFICATION
