Sounds good but i would like to close the contest i made as folks must not like it or think its lame. But since you replied with a story i would like to send you some stuff. I edited the date while back when you replied after it was over. inch:  :dunno:

That would be the one, thanks for being positive about it! I figured we could go by the amount of thanks at bottom of their reply and the prize (or prizes) would be a surprise. :laugh:  :dunno:

Someone suggested once best bone artifact contest. We could do best bead contest too. Best personal found pendant? Best pebble pendant., Best axe, Best celt , Best story about friends met on arrowheads.com weather met in person or just on line buds. There are so many different things we can have a contest about. You are all being asked to be a part of what kind of contest should we have so please lets hear some ideas.

. Jay and sneaky are good at reproducing stuff we have others here with talent. maybe do a best home made atlatl contest Best self bow?
It could be worst of too! Ugliest point contest was fun last year we can do ugliest re-purposed artifact.

I think this is a netting gauge but am I positive of that?  Artifacts like this that pick the brain make for great conversations and contests with loads of pictures are more fun so what say you guys anyone have any ideas?

How about a "Best Preform" artifact and make it a little more challenging and say no Preform Points.  Must be a tool, adornment or pipe or something that makes it just a little more challenging than a preform point.  I will add a nice North Carolina point (whole) to the winner.  I know , last of the Big Time Spenders but I'll pick a nice point with known provenance and it will be added to what ever else is offered up as the prize.  B)

Josh, a great contest. I have many stories.but you need to bump to the top. Not every one gets online and go past the first page, DONT let it get buried.
