I made this little arrow point from a small spall of Coastal Plains Chert. You guys and gals know that I have been knapping dart points and large blades. This is quite a challenge for me to knapp a little arrow point: This point is right at one and a quarter inches. I had my magnifying glass out while I was knapping this one: Never did that before. LOL I like the challenge and will be knapping more little arrow points in the future.

Ok so the only thing going for this one is it resembles a arrowhead. Not a knapper and it dose show.

                      nice points everyone

chase that most definitely is an arrow head, dont cut your self short

skrewkase, have you tried heating that bull rock,i hear it makes it much easier to work with
but it looks like you showed it who the boss was

johnny, sweet point,i sit CP or flint river

obion, that is fine example of a bird point, nice job on it

yup, looks like i need to start knapping a little more frequently. you guys are blowing me away with the skills youve got

Tim, both are coastal plain chert, what you got is Coastal plain chert, Brier Creek Variant and Flint River is a variant over near the Flint river of Georgia. My point is Brier creek C.P.
