  • It is time!!!!!

Please accept my apologies for being way late with this.
Earlier I promised to start a find of the month contest.
How do I enter and what do I enter?
Pick two pictures of your best find this year, add the link to your original post and enjoy.
Since this is the first ever find of the month contest here I think that we should allow entries for any find made this year.
So without ado please enter your best find here.

In life there are losers and finders. Which one are you?

I added these pics earlier in the month and jumped the gun a bit.......oops. Found this point in Hamilton county, Texas which from what I can tell looks like a big sandy leighton base, this one was found after a huge down pour after working on our well house. Thanks for looking!!!

So here is My entry. A BIG BLADE (4 IN.+) that I think was used as a Knife. Probably Archaic, and I probably stepped on It.

There is still alot of time this month and since we can go previous to April and I really doubt I will top this point here is my entry. This piece is just a hair over three inches long and without blemish. It is very thin and is a rare g10 quality artifact. I don't know the material. As for now it's my find of the year.

Well I have absolutely no idea how to add a link but it posted it on March the 3rd in the lithics and other artifacts section under the name artifacts that span a long range.

I like your idea Bruce, figured more people would have posted, maybe a post needs to made in the general discussion area to make sure they know about it.
