Alright, since no one else has entered any finds yet, I'll put this in to get the ball rolling. I realize it's not the greatest find, but I like it. I think it's my first corner notch. I have seen others post some great stuff but no entrees here yet. I'm sure I'll be cannon fodder if some of those get entered, but that is ok. By the way, as long as I have some eyes on this. Any chance it's a Palmer? I know it's not really serrated but could have been retouched a bit.

I'm back! I am just throwing in this one for kicks.
Found in southern Georgia in a sand field. Yes, that's right: A sand field. I think that it is a Pineallas. Please forgive the spelling.

Let us not forget that finding tiny points such as mine, are a rarity. Especially if its sand colored, in a sand field.

Do you have another pic, Pointhead? That one pic just doesn't do that sweet point justice. A closeup of the other face, against a white background, would be great.

These next couple months should be loaded with entries. I can see it slowing down again from Dec-Feb. Maybe our southern folks can keep us going through the winter. I'll still be hunting in those months. I don't like to walk away from a hunt empty handed, even if it means picking up reduction flakes.Last edited by Broken Arrow; 09-05-2018, 06:57 PM.

Agreed. October plowing begins down here, and I will try to get permission from a few of the locals. After that, there is really nothing much to look forward to until spring.

Don't underestimate those winter months and what a good snow melt can reveal. I've found points in the dead of winter. You just have to be willing to frrreeeze your butt off for it.

This one will be tough.. looks like our Big Sky friend is leading for my vote...that dendritic stalactite or whatever it is ...just stunning, but then the lith and craftsmanship on Jay’s point...holy cow...
and then there’s the pipe.
I may may have to commit voter fraud.Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.
