  • September Find of the Month entry

It's that time again, time to enter your September finds! Where has the time gone? Good grief.

Remember to post at least two good photos of your finds, and the link to your original thread where you first showed the artifact to us. Entry closes Oct. 15th.

Here's a nice Harrell arrow point I found in the sand dunes. Made of Edwards Plateau "Honey" Chert.

A cool front came through yesterday with 25 MPH winds. I hit the dunes hard for 8 hours today. The blowouts looked different with the crusty layer covering a larger area than usual. Found a variety of stuff including a finely serrated Harrell arrow point, my first. Some brokes. A hammer stone, some broke blade tips, and a core

Since this will likely be my only one, ever.... posting Green Girl for the contest!

Hello friends! It's been quite a while since I last posted, apologies. Been looking but not finding much besides mosquitoes and chiggers here. Until today! I decided to check a spot that I hadn't visited for a couple of years, since it's a pain of a bushwhack to get to, but it was much easier today due to low water levels. Saw

No other takers I guess on the contest I think that Clovis scared all other entries. Maybe mine will give you a run. Click image for larger version

https://forums.arrowheads.com/forum/...nds#post582651 had a few nice finds in September and since there’s a sweet Clovis in this month I guess it doesn’t matter which one I put in.
