      One of my best days was actually in a storm 12 inches in an hour, got there at daybreak, light rain..best day on that site, as I was leaving I met the troops comin in, don’t know if I got everything, but I sure left em a muddy mess,.competition was fierce

      Find the lowest part of your home with no windows. I slept through hurricane Charlie in Florida in the hallway with all of the doors shut. Made it just fine. Hope you make it just fine as well if you are staying home. The hurricane isn't that bad if no tornadoes spin off. Good luck

        I knew two Swamp Yankee farmer brothers who went without electricity their entire life. Not me, lol. Maybe a week a couple times.

      My mom and sister are in the Beaumont area. They are saying it’s almost a cat 5 now. Prayers are appreciated 😐

                Just a mess out there now ! I feel bad for the folks in heat/ humidity without electricity .....Damn. Then comes the really bad part... The insurance companies not paying claims on homes that are gone, and people still have mortgages.
                They can’t decide if the wind or water took the home away. Well ya know we don’t sell flood ins in the area you were in, we would cover the wind damage but it’s gonna take a few years to decide as to why your home is gone ! So on and so forth ....
