  • My brother !

A gift came today from a bother, we bonded , shared thoughts, problems, emotions. Heart to heart truths. The gifts were not a secret Santa gift, just a heart felt goodwill Christmas present. Inside was a beautiful Christmas card with wishes of health , fortune, and the Lords everlasting teachings. Also, as my brother knows that the cold weather really hurts my old bones, a super nice long sleeve , warm shirt! ( Long sleeve shirts are all I ever wear, how did he know this ?) I think by this shirt( Very few made ) That I’ve been inducted into a river surface hunting group, Housatonic Archeological Surface Hunters , a privilege ! And a artifact ! This particular artifact is one that I know of, but in my area, I’ll never find one like it! I’ve told my brother on many occasion that I’d never recognize a artifact such as this but now that I can feel the grooves and where the lashings worked against both faces of the artifact, I’ve now come to a closer understanding of how the NA people utilized fishing across most of America ! I’m a hard man, hardly ever show to much emotion but I’m man enough to confess, in joy, I cried ...

Thank you Richard, aka, ( redrocks ) Click image for larger version

Awesome gifts Red, went to a well deserving guy! You need to get yourself a heated vest for Christmas JJ. That will keep you after that cold weather Folsom.

There’s actually a bunch of different companies that make all kinds of battery operated heated clothing. Google away

Very nice. Heated undergarments are the best. I first used them cave diving in MO. then use them for riding on extremely cold days/nights. Just awsome.

We have what I call “choker vines”; they climb up trees and can get super thick. Cut and pulled some down during summer, then put in burn pile. Hard to burn, tho, coz nothing but compacted very long fiber strands. Would be perfect for twining into net!
