Newborn son Lane open heart surgery Friday

My wife will be induced Friday morning. Lane has heterotaxy single ventricular in order for him to have a chance they have to do open heart surgery. They said it is very complex. I went out today and found him a few to welcome him here.

Lane is in the Lord’s hands now,, He will be fine...But of course you can still worry ...

I had a housemate once who was neonatal nurse. She worked unit because she said it was “best showcase of human resilience” in whole, big NYC hospital. She came home with many, many incredibly happy stories!

I remember that newborns’ eyesight may take few days to get cranked up, so make sure you pick up Lane most colorful and shiniest finds ever!
