You all are so wonderful. Whenever I get a boo-boo, I usually just crawl off somewhere, but pain meds got me feeling better, so must say thanks. I had my mandible shaved, and kinda look like a chipmunk, but they’re cute lil creatures. I’m gonna be ok, and my bite will be worse than my bark soon!

This reminds me…we have chipmunks here, smaller than a gray squirrel but still pretty good size little things. I love watching them
Anyway, my daughter and I were on a hike way up above the timberline in Colorado back in late august and saw a bunch up there, and they weren’t any bigger than a field mouse. Hard to believe they are the same creatures.
