    This ia another Archaic Knife - found at the Wilson County Sand Pit in Texas. Has white patination over brown sugar quartz.

    Where do you think the source for this "Brown Sugar Quartz" came from?

    It is a "Rock" when it's on the ground.
    It is a "Specimen" when picked up and taken home.

      This lithic is found in Central Texas. A lot of the Waco Sinkers are made of it. It's a "purple"/brown quartzite of which these artifacts are commonly made in that area. This Waco Sinker was also found in the Wilson County TX Sand Pit.
