The Hidden Landscapes Project
The Hidden Landscapes Project is a collaborative effort among professional scientists, tribal represenatives, and amateur researchers to re-think the prehistory of the American Northeast, New England, and Maritime Canada. The project has resulted in the production of 3 well made videos so far. This research is controversial. The 3rd video, for example, "Unlocking the Mysterious Stone Ruins" involves an examination of stone structures that were not viewed as Native American by many, and many may not be native.
That said, this is just one more aspect of the revisioning of American prehistory ongoing at this time. This project may be of special interests to collectors from the Northeast.
