My line of work is not super interesting, but I do get to meet with super interesting people. Yesterday I met a pilot. Not just any old pilot, but one who flies doing LIDAR surveys. He asked if I had ever heard of Poverty Point. Obviously my ears perked up a lot. New mapping will be going on in the very near future as it appears it may be considerably larger then previously thought. If you haven't done any reading on it Poverty Point is worth a little research.
