          Good read there TY ! I think I was reading about the subject of mail armor somewhere in the distant past. Correct me if I’m wrong but I seem to remember that for whatever reason, no one could figure out how they made the armor ?

            There are a number of well-documented processes for making chain-mail but it was extremely laborious and expensive tp produce, leading to it being highly-prized in those times. Vanquished enemies were gleefully stripped of their chain mail even more enthusiastically that they were of other weaponry. Even if it meant you got a pair of secondhand underpants.
