    I’ve never had chickens as grownup ‘til now, and when got them as itty-bitty biddies, learned they have only one business sphincter, called a “cloaca”. Yep, an all-purpose pee-er, pooper, rooster egg-fertilizer, and egg-layer. .. that just boggles my mind. But, now armed with that knowledge, was not surprised this article all about Psittacosaurus’ cloaca:

    When a dog-sized Psittacosaurus was living out its days on Earth, it was probably concerned with mating, eating, and not being killed by other dinosaurs.
