Understand how I felt when arriving at a favorite site and OMG!!!! What could I do?? Walked it and around it and up it and down it.

What’s their intent? Get out there while you still can.
At the least them moving that soil around may bring some artifacts out.

most of my site is under the neighbors lake, dammed up the spring fed Creek that i believe was the center of the site , still find a few artifacts on our property, I know I'm on the outskirts , we do have the stone henge, I've seen a vertical carin at the other spring that I can't access anymore either , is what it is, I'm lucky to have been able to hunt these areas years ago to help me piece together the puzzle

That sucks. I had a similar experience. Got off work one summer day and headed to the site to see if anything had popped to the surface, and there they were.....paving the whole site! I wanted to puke.
