  • Taconic phase points

I read this PDF with great interest many moons ago. The theory on plug stem points such as seen in many small stemmed types in the north eastern states is very interesting to me. The theory is they were socketed against a node in a reed rather than hafted into a split shaft. Very interesting reading material. I read another similar article way back when too. I tend to agree with this theory. https://nysarchaeology.org/download/...number_039.pdf
