My Grandfather's Childhood Find

My grandfather told me today that when he grew up on Tangier Island, Va, that he found lots of arrowheads, and once he found a leather pouch containing arrowheads. Are arrowheads found in pouches occasionally?

Not usually, but both Smith & Tangier Islands are Rich with artifacts, as is the eastern & western shores of the lower Chesapeake Bay. As both those islands are threatened by rising sea levels, artifacts will disappear. Treasure them.

Wow, usually I just look for Arrowhead's but never thought of looking for Pouches.
