  • Big Blades

    Any help on typing the middle blade in this picture guys? I am calling the blades on either side Bentons. All 3 found in West Tn. It is the only picture I have and it is in a local Auction this Friday. Thanks guys.

      I say Benton x 3. The middle one has very unique resharpening. Maybe it was wrapped up onto the blade. Very cool stuff!

        Benton in my honest opinion. Just as Josh said the center one looks to have some unusual resharpening.

          Yes indeedy! They look like Bentons to me. And great examples. The people that made Benton points made some beautiful long blades. But they made smaller ones, also. I think those points would make an excellent addition to your collection if you are into buying points.

            There are blades found in Middleboro Massachusetts called Wapanuckets...they look alot like those...
