I've always been under the impression that all of the Thunderbird effigy pieces that you see are all modern works. I've seen them in collections where the owner claims to have "found" them himself, even found here in the North East. They are all over eBay with claims that they were found by somebody's grandfather, they are even in a 60 year old donated collection that I've seen. What's the real story of these?
