Is this a point or a knife

Hi Lilboy. Better pics would help us make a more positive ID. But from what I see what you are showing us I think was used as a knife and not any kind of projectile point.

First pic it a flake just by shape
second pic is a knife but looks like the pot lid and color from fire it was used for another propose

Hard to say without more detailed pics. Going by what I can see, it may have been a point and when it was damaged was sharped down to use as a knife. A broken point that was still well hafted was too valuable a resource to simply toss away. Especially if it was winter and gathering new lithics was out of the question.
