  • A little help.

I have a couple questions for all the resident experts. Anyone know what lithic these are?
I find a large number of these here. Always fairly large, ( for my area), and they are very deep, just above the clay layer.
Does the flaking resemble any age or style of known artifacts?
I already posted the one at top, but the smaller one was found at the same depth only about two feet away. Thanks for any insights. Middle of Montana.

Hey Chad, I don't know types but I do like the big knives. Nice big basal thinning flake or flute. Nice finds.

      Ron,
I found a decent spall of this stuff, that i think has enough for you to make something out of it..At same depth as the artifacts, but not worked. im going to send it to you and if you feel like it you can make smaller rocks out of it. If you do, i would love to know what you think of the material..
