ID:	305360 Hey gang. I found this one last month and I've never seen this color or pattern around my area.
    Field find in Auglaize County, Ohio.
    Can someone ID the lithic?

      This may be a piece of the Nether's variety of Flintridge chert that came from the Nether's farm area of the chert quarry. The Flintridge quarry extends from Licking Co. to Muskingum Co., and in the Muskingum Co. quarry is the Nethers chert outcrops. It's extremely colorful, striped or mottled, and can be dark like this with colorful inclusions. The darker variety is due to a lot of iron rich chert. Check this out, I think that's what you have.
