  • Pls help ID CT Arrowhead ***WITH PIC!***

My daughter found this arrowhead in approximately a foot and half of water while snorkeling in a lake in SE CT.
I have done some research online and the arrowhead looks like a Brewerton. I have no clue for sure and want to try and determine the approximate age of the artifact and the tribe it likely came from. I believe the Iroquois (sp?) and Pequot Indians were active in this area of southern New England.
Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks

      KSRocks:
Pic now attached.  Looks very similar to the pic in your avatar except my base seems to be a little straighter.
      Any thoughts?

Yes my avatar I call A Grand, Mid-Woodland point very common here in Kansas. What I see in overstreet for your area yours may be a Brewerton type point, the bases like the Grand are not all the same. If yours is Brewerton it is much older. Just my thoughts.
