Tool ?..hand axe maybe ?

Digging in a new area...found alot of the ty
pical debitage where i hunt ,cream to yellow..with a pink hue at times.diggin was good so around 20 inches or so i started finding chips and spalls of a brownish chert..then found this chunk...edge looks worked to me...dings like maybe some usage ?

Heres a pic of some of the typical stuff i am finding ( dirt covered )...and a broken point of the same material...( kings maybe ..dunno..) found in the same area asthe questionable tool

Hard to say about it. Looks a little chunky to be anything too finished. Might be a crude chopper.
The fact you are finding it in context with that point and other signs could suggest a possibility. After you find some real goodies , you will probably toss this one in the garden. 🙂
