  • unidentified point

I’m back for help on identifying another point. This is one of the points I inheareted from my grandfather and again I have no information on where it was found or when. He lived in Minnesota most of his life and actually had interactions with the Native Americans in that area ( early 1900s ). This point was mounted on a heavy paper at one time and there are traces of glue left on it. Any ideas on how to remove the glue without damage to the point?

If you were in Ga. it would be a Hernando point on glue put in warm water and see if it dissolves a lot of the old points were glued on with water soluble glue. There is also a citrus point that is similar.

Cool point! Always wanted to find one like that. If it were found down here in my area, I'd call it a Smith or maaaybe a calf creek.
