Round rock

Pestle with flat side was used to mash or grind things but what would the round smooth rock be used for. Both found in farm field in Cumberland county nj

Is the last piece the end of the round rock? If so hammer probably. Hammer and grinder here can be the same tool like a crusher and a grinder in one

The last picture is the end of pestle. The rock is pretty smooth no damage and almost perfectly round. Its reddish also. No a color you find in south jersey. Maybe used for cooking ? Or a game ? Or too shape something else round ? Just guesses
