ID:	426818 Hello everyone hope you all are doing well I have a need for sum insight on this piece I have found near the bluff on my property in Colbert county Alabama. I have tried identifying this myself but haven't hit on it. I'm gonna take a stab and say that it might possibly be a small totem or stone effigy? Would so appreciate your insights and comments thanks

That looks like it’s tumbled in water at some point maybe an Indian picked up and brought it back to camp because they found it interesting too. Do you find other artifacts there on the bluff?

The more abstract the piece the more verbal info is needed for identification....a sharper image of the coin also helps.

Creek pebble but even small could of been used in the hammer stone category. Other than that nothing comes to mind. I have no idea on a totem as a term used.
