  • Indian beads???

    Can anyone supply any information on the beads here. These were all found in Edenville, (Franklin County) PA. They were found scattered in a small area, when the soil was sifted. My father strung them together to keep them from getting lost.

        I definitely believe you are right - one of the flat beads definitely is a cat, one is a dog and one looks like a bird.

            Yes, they look like faience beads. Absolutely egyptian style. They might have been popular back in the 60's or 70's, but they likely aren't ancient.

              Yep, clearly Egyptian motifs, esp that eye of Horus. Also agree with clovisoid that it's unlikely anyone would bury the ancient real deal. Still a cool find.
