Is this a Copena or a dalton or what?

This doesn't feel like there is any grinding on the base or sides. It was found in far north Alabama almost to the border. Is it copena?

Looks like a Copena triangular point. Cool find!

They took some large thinning strikes all the way down that . Looks like a paleo piece from the base. Cool whatever it is

Not all points can be determined as a certain type from the books we have to go by. Sometimes you have to lump them into a group. What other points have you found in the area? Of course if it was a creek find it could of came from anywhere. I like it.

Welcome from Minnesota... I’m not real familiar with Alabama points... I would rule out dalton,... copena seems to fit that point.
however, with those “ears” looks like there could also be other possibility’s.... nice looking find.....👍
