Not sure could this be a net sinker? Also
pipe stem or ceremonial piece for clothing it appears to be made of stone the small hole go’s all the way thru. Found in Maryland both in a small creek

I hope you get some feedback on the stone with hole. Folks here can tell you what to look for to be able determine whether drilled or water worn. (If running water made hole, you have a natural rock supposedly endowed with other-worldly “powers”, according to many different cultures’ mythology.). Of course, if hole made by member of the People, you have something far cooler!
