  • Oregon artifact found - what is it? :)

Hello all. This was found on a trail in Eugene, Oregon. It has two deep grooves on the right side and all along the top there are smooth, rubbed shallow grooves from continued rubbing. Does anybody know what this is?

    Thanks!!

This has already been identified by the local tribes as an artifact but we don't know the use. I am hoping that someone here might have more info.

I would say natural, the rock looks to have too many flaws to be made into anything.

Pretty material but no signs of it being modified

I got excited when I saw a west coast post but I’d need a few more angles to venture a thought on what it might be…

need photos of all sides, as tom said could be a tooth fragment.
