What a treat!  You've got your hands full, eh?  I'm wondering if that piece in question (originaly) could be (broadly stated) one of the Lanceolate Plano Cluster.  Plainviews had grinding and 'ears' at the base.  But Agate Basins don't.  Thoughts guys? And although I'm not going to say yey or ney on that 'clovis'-type piece everyone's questioning.  I Do, however agree that no matter what, if you didn't find it- and it's a high-end piece, better safe than sorry.  Paper the thing.  I look forward to finding out what the results are. Happy (box) Hunting!
        Riv.

You are welcome Riv. And you are right about the learning part, that is a great thing about this hobby/obsession. Ray
