  • Texas Edwards

I’ve spoke to archaeologists about this curious projectile type and I’ve wondered if this (among others ) were one of the first types to transition from dart to arrow ? Reasons being that this is one of the largest projectile point type and they resemble one of the transitional point types ( frio) .

One on right is,probably a Frio. The Edward's is super fine but they were late archery points. Likely a Gary variant was transitional from dart to archery .

Is that a Brazos river edwards?

Yes. They are thousands of years apart. I get your point though. Ensor/scallorn is a good example

By the way, that sucker is fine

If you don't mind answering, was that Edward's from the Brazos?
