  • Unusual Serrations

    Back again, this time with pictures. It just took me 4 years!
    I found these on a single component site in Trigg County Kentucky. They were on a gentle slope above a sinkhole, about 100 yards from a significant cave. The 3 on the upper left show unusual square serrations or notches on the blade. I believe they are Kirk Stemmed Bifurcated or Stanly. I seem to remember seeing this style serrations before, but I've searched my books and the WWW and come up empty. Any one have an idea?

      I too believe they are of the same type, most likely Kirks. Thanks for the post WD. Kim
