Broken Point

My dad bought this at an old bottle show a couple years back and he used it as a toll and not a collectable then paid the price. He would use it to open boxes and just used it as a pocket knife until he dropped it on a tile floor at work . I was wondering how much it would be worth if it was in one piece and how old it is???

The point looks like it might be an early type, but, even if intact, it would have had minimal value, probably only a few bucks....
