  • 2 Large 3/4 Grooved Axe Heads

I have these two axe heads. I was wandering if one of these may be better than the other or more rare. I plan to keep at least one of them. They are both about 7 inches long, one is 3 inches tall and the other about 4.5.

The 3/4 groove is much older and rare. You didn't say what state they were found. Kim

2 nice axes.. I’m guessing from Indiana
Both being 3/4 groove, there from the same time period. Axes that have a full groove, all the way around would be the oldest of the axes. The darker one seems to be in better shape than the other.
Axes are rare finds today, I would keep the pair.
      both show good size….👍
