    Are there any geologists in here? I didn't know whether to post this in rocks and geology so I'm hoping its a fossilized horn or tooth. Maybe a prehistoric snail or other sea creature. The last one is enhanced alot to show detail.

    UPDATE:
    Just saw one of the other posts with the same thing. Found out it's some prehistoric horned sea creature snail thingy.

    Yeah, it's a fossil horn coral. You could probably found out the geological age by googling fossil horn corals from your neck of the woods.

      Scroll down this page quite a bit. Horn corals, or rugose corals, died out about 200 million years ago....

        As a somewhat related aside....if you found this in NEA...I found a mastodon tooth outside Hoxie while hunting points in a field in about 1986. I had no idea what it was, but an archaeologist at ASU id'd it for me.
        By the way... Those guys had huge chompers. 😳
        Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.

          I've heard of Mastodon finds around here but never found anything myself.
