  • Fossilmania 2018 Glen Rose Texas.

This will probably be my last year to attend.
Most of my old and dear friends are no longer there and what was once a fossil related show only is now open to just whatever they put on their tables for sale/display.
I only saw one item that truly drew my attention. A beautiful "Tiger Chert" selection.
No pics still on my phone maybe later get in a pic.
    More later.
It is a "Rock" when it's on the ground.
It is a "Specimen" when picked up and taken home.

The older we get the more change we see Jessy. Unfortunately - sometimes it change that's not for the better. Would like to see your pics.
Pickett/Fentress County, Tn - Any day on this side of the grass is a good day. -Chuck-

Jess - that stuff is awesome. Do you know what it is and where it came from? Is that the Tiger Chert? Can you imagine making a point out of that. WOW!!

Really do not have any idea. Just another one of the gem and jewelry booths.
I was told by a knapper friend named Curtis that it is a little overpriced.
The guy had some cabs made from the stuff but I was not interested.
