I know very little to nothing about fossils. Found this in a creek that starts as a small ditch and turns into a 30foot wide shelf rock creek and dumps into another larger creek all within a mile. Found on the shelf rock part of the creek. Can anyone tell me what it may be?

Hey DL - Love your Avatar. I can almost taste them. That's definitely a fossil but not sure it's a tooth. Looks more like one of them sea critters.

Thanks, thats what i was suspecting but was unsure. I seem to find most my sea critter fossils on shelf rock creeks.
