Over 10 years ago....(and 100 lbs heavier lolol) Trip to Ft. Drum FL, Rucks Pit. Eddie Rucks, owner. Clams got tsunamied, covered millions of years ago...Calcite crytals, dogtooth spar formation formed inside the closed clams (quahogs same as today) like geodes. Back in the Day you could call Eddie up and get into the actual pit with him as chaperone lolol. Now there are just piles of spoil to go through. Not worth now in in my opinion.
